He often sees such people within difficult family/social contexts such as family divorce, loss and adjustment. He currently sees, assesses, and counsels/treats 22 clients per week.
He is a member of the Australian Association for Contextual Behavioural Science and the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.
He uses an integrative approach which incorporates the following models most appropriate to the presenting issues:- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Client Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic and Solution Focused Therapy.
Practice rooms are conveniently located in Balgowlah (Suites 3 + 4/294 Sydney Rd, Balgowlah) and Neutral Bay (Suite 17, Level 3, 81-91 Military Rd, corner of Ben Boyd Rd). Therapy days are Mondays to Fridays. Afternoon and evening sessions available.
Those with a diagnosable condition or history of such (e.g. anxiety, depression etc.) may claim rebates of $120 per session from Medicare for 12 to 18 sessions per year. Those with chronic disease (heart disease, chronic pain, etc.) can claim rebates from Medicare for up to five sessions at $45 per session. Rebates also available for health insurance.
